Job summary

Confidential, a boutique personal injury law firm in Los Angeles, seeks an experienced litigation paralegal to join a dynamic team of attorneys, paralegals and case managers who love what they do. You will handle court filings, discovery, medical record review, subpoenas, and strategy discussions in a fast-paced environment.

You must have at least 3 years of civil litigation experience, be highly organized, and fluent with Office365 and CRM/CMS; Spanish is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Incredible organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Office365 and CCR/Legal CRM systems.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Court filings/efiling (mostly state court).
• Tracking SOLs.
• Discovery - Propounding and Responding.
• Engaging with clients to obtain information.
• Review of medical records and preparation of medical chronologies.
• Reservation of Court Hearing Dates.
• Preparing Subpoena Objections for Records/Depos.
• Preparing Stipulations to Cont. Trial.
• Preparing mediation briefs and complaints.
• Participating in strategy discussions.
• Sending Experts transcripts for review.
• Noticing Depositions/Subpoenas for Depos.
• Drafting CMC Statements / Initial Trial Setting Conference Statements.

We are a boutique personal injury law firm, seeking an experienced litigation paralegal. Our practice is primarily focused on personal injury. You will be joining a dynamic team of attorneys, paralegals and case managers who love what they do and why they do it.

** Description**

** Key Responsibilities:**

• Court filings/efiling (mostly state court)
• Tracking SOLs
• Discovery - Propounding and Responding
• Engaging with clients to obtain information
• Review of medical records and preparation of medical chronologies
• Reservation of Court Hearing Dates
• Preparing Subpoena Objections for Records / Depos
• Preparing Stipulations to Cont. Trial
• Preparing mediation briefs and complaints
• Participating in strategy discussions
• Sending Experts any and all material for review, including their own transcripts
• Noticing Depositions / Subpoenas for Depos.

** REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:**

• Incredible organizational skills
• High proficiency with technology, including AI
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil litigation
• Must be adept in Office365, CA Code of Civil Procedure and Local Rules, and CRM/CMS
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required
