Want to become a personal injury litigator? We will train you.
Black Rock Trial Lawyers, PLLC is looking for a new or early-career attorney (0–1 year) who wants hands‑on litigation experience, courtroom exposure, and direct mentorship while developing into a plaintiff‑side personal injury litigator.
Personal injury experience is NOT required.
What matters to us is that you are smart, hardworking, highly organized, coachable, comfortable working with clients, and genuinely interested in becoming an excellent litigator.
You will not be expected to figure this out alone.
You will work with an experienced, dedicated full‑time litigation paralegal and receive direct attorney supervision and mentorship.
This position is designed for an attorney who wants to learn by doing.
You will receive direct supervision and mentorship from Gil Sanchez, CEO & Senior Managing Partner of Black Rock Trial Lawyers, who has more than 15 years of personal injury experience.
Our objective is not simply to hire someone to process files.
We want to develop a litigator.
You will progressively learn how to manage cases, take depositions, attend mediations, argue motions, develop litigation strategy, negotiate cases, work with clients, and ultimately become capable of independently managing personal injury litigation.
$75,000–$100,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
Plus performance‑based bonus opportunities.

This is a full‑time position based at our Tampa office.
We prefer in‑person candidates because we believe young attorneys develop faster when they are working directly alongside experienced attorneys and litigation staff.
However, a hybrid arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.
Credentials matter—but so does personality.
Our clients are real people dealing with real injuries and real problems. You must enjoy talking to people, helping clients, solving problems, and working as part of a team.
We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn, willing to put in the work, comfortable receiving feedback, and excited about becoming a personal injury trial lawyer.
