Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Chicago seeks an Associate Attorney to support trial teams, learn and develop litigation skills, and contribute to the playbook alongside world-class trial attorneys. The role offers exposure to pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities and a pathway to becoming a well-rounded litigator.

You will work closely with trial attorneys, handle client relationships, and gain experience across depositions, hearings, and complex cases within a leading personal injury practice.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active IL State Bar in good standing.
• 1+ years of Litigation experience (PI preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in Personal Injury Law.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to clients and trial assist attorneys.
• Maintain client relationships.
• Help prepare demands and work with cases pre-suit.
• Prepare legal reports and documents.
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Work closely with Litigation Paralegals and Case Managers.
