Sloat, Nicholson & Hoover, P.C. in downtown Boulder seeks a Legal Assistant - Lien Management to support our personal injury practice.

The role focuses on identifying, tracking, and maintaining lien information throughout cases while collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and the Office Manager. This in-office position requires daily client contact, meticulous record-keeping in the case management system, and preparation of lien summaries, documents, and notices.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or similar law office support role.
• Experience in lien management or personal injury a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Identify, track, manage, and maintain lien information for active cases.
• Send notices to insurers and lienholders.
• Maintain lien summaries in the case management system.
• Answer phones and provide client service.
• Draft routine correspondence and legal forms.
• Schedule appointments and meetings.
• Open and organize client files and medical records.
• Assist with preparation of demand packages and trial materials.
• Enter time entries and maintain accurate case notes.
