Job summary

Job Summary

The Personal Injury Department is seeking a full-time Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for legal professionals with advanced paralegal and case management skills, extensive litigation experience, and a strong background in personal injury law. Candidates must hold a JD or equivalent law degree from their home country and have relevant legal experience. The position offers the flexibility of being fully remote, with required working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.


Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepare and organize documents for client meetings, court filings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Manage and maintain client files and electronic records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in maintaining files and databases to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide case updates.
  • Draft and send correspondence to medical providers, including letters of representation and balance requests.
  • Contact medical providers to obtain balances and assist in balance reductions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Perform other essential departmental functions as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • JD/Law degree from your home country is required,together with relevant legal experience, and aminimum of 2 years as a Paralegal/Case Manager in a law firm (preferably in the U.S.).
  • Experience in Personal Injury Law is required.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills (C1-C2 level).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, and case management software.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

$6 - $8 an hour
The candidate’s placement within the stated compensation range will be determined at Price Benowitz’s discretion, based on skill set, years of experience, and credentials.
