Wilshire Law Firm is seeking a Demand Writer in the Personal Injury Pre-litigation department in Los Angeles. You will draft Personal Injury demand letters and assemble demand packages to pursue justice for clients with wrongful death, TBIs, catastrophic injuries, and major orthopedic cases.

Responsibilities include preparing demand packages, clearly detailing case facts, injuries and damages, and calculating losses such as wages, medical expenses, and property damage.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a personal injury law firm.
• Ability to review and organize medical records and bills.
• Must perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
• Experience handling a large volume of personal injury cases and drafting successful demand letters.
• Type at least 40 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare successful demand packages for personal injury matters.
• Draft well-written demand letters that establish the facts and damages.
• Calculate damages including lost wages, property damage, and medical expenses.
