Job summary

Premier Pain Solutions, PLLC seeks a dedicated Personal Injury Case Manager to join the medical office team in Asheville, NC. You will coordinate patient care and act as the liaison between medical practitioners, patients, and legal representatives to ensure efficient case handling.

Responsibilities include case coordination, documentation, deadlines, and communication across medical staff, insurance providers, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years’ proven experience as a Case Manager in medical/healthcare or legal settings, especially personal injury.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, treatments and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families and professionals.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of personal injury cases as the primary contact for patients and legal representatives, ensuring documentation is accurate and maintained.
• Coordinate appointments, consultations, and treatments, and maintain detailed records of patient care and billing information.
• Ensure timely communication with medical staff, insurance providers, and legal representatives.
• Monitor deadlines for filing paperwork, inquiries, and scheduling to resolve cases timely.
• Advocate for patients' needs and ensure access to appropriate medical care and support.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and expected outcomes.
• Prepare and review medical reports, records, billing, and other documents for legal proceedings and claims.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to personal injury cases.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support patient care and participate in case conferences.
• Stay updated on developments in personal injury law and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
