Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Case Manager to be the client’s primary contact from intake through demand. You will own the file day to day, confirming intake information, managing medical treatment, tracking liens and coverage, and building the demand package for attorney review.

The role sits at the center of the pre-litigation team and works with attorneys, claims, legal assistants, investigators, and accounting. Strong organization and case management software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in personal injury case management or related client-facing role.
• Knowledge of personal injury claim lifecycle and medical billing basics.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal client communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake calls within 24 hours; cases received after 3:00 PM called by noon next business day.
• Verify and obtain essential client information and set expectations for treatment and demand process.
• Direct and monitor client treatment; complete medical/damages entries; manage Letters of Protection.
• Notate liens and notify attorneys; issue MedPay demands as appropriate.
• Follow up with clients every 7–10 days during treatment and demand prep.
• Draft the demand with all bills/records; submit for attorney review and adjuster contact.
