Role Description

The Personal Injury Case Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Atlanta, GA. This role manages personal injury files from intake through resolution, including collecting and organizing medical records, bills, and accident documentation. The Case Manager communicates regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties to provide updates, obtain information, and ensure timely progression of each case. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate case notes, tracking deadlines, drafting correspondence and basic legal documents under attorney supervision, and preparing demand packages. The role also involves supporting attorneys with case evaluation, settlement coordination, and occasional trial preparation while upholding strict confidentiality and high client service standards.

Qualifications

• Client service and communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and a professional, empathetic demeanor with injured clients.
• Organizational and case management skills, such as maintaining detailed records, managing multiple deadlines, and efficiently handling a high-volume caseload.
• Administrative and documentation skills, including proficiency with case management software, Microsoft Office or similar tools, and accurate data entry and file maintenance.
• Negotiation and coordination abilities, including working with medical providers and insurance adjusters, scheduling appointments, and helping assemble comprehensive demand packages.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to review medical and accident records, spot key facts, and help identify issues relevant to liability and damages.
• Prior experience in personal injury, insurance claims, or legal case management is strongly preferred; familiarity with Georgia personal injury procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, collaborate closely with attorneys and staff, and maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (such as paralegal studies, criminal justice, or legal studies) is beneficial.
