Job summary

Confidential Employer in Sacramento, CA seeks an attorney to join our established plaintiff personal injury practice. Represent plaintiffs in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other injury matters, managing cases from intake through settlement or trial.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year PI experience, strong legal writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to handle a busy caseload with excellent client communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience required.
• Experience managing personal injury litigation matters.
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Litigation experience including depositions and court appearances is highly preferred.
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent plaintiffs in a variety of personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other injury claims.
• Manage cases from intake through settlement or trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve successful case outcomes.
• Stay current on California personal injury laws and litigation practices.
