Job summary

Confidential Employer in Maryland seeks an experienced personal injury attorney to manage litigation from intake to trial. You will take ownership of cases, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare for depositions, and advocate in court on behalf of clients.

Active Maryland Bar, 3+ years of PI litigation, and strong writing/negotiation skills are required. The role offers a competitive salary with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Trial and courtroom experience.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation matters and help move cases strategically toward successful resolution.
• Conduct legal research involving Maryland personal injury law, regulations, and relevant precedent.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare cases for depositions, hearings, negotiations, settlement discussions, and trial.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate effectively on their behalf.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties throughout the litigation process.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and help develop effective case strategies.
• Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and documentation across an active caseload.
• Stay current on developments in personal injury law and litigation practices.

Location

Pikesville, MD. This is an on-site position offering close collaboration with our attorneys and litigation team. Candidates must be able to commute reliably to our Pikesville office.

Candidates must be active members of the Maryland Bar in good standing and have 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience, including trial experience.
