Confidential Employer in Tysons, VA seeks an experienced lead personal injury attorney to oversee matters from development through trial and verdict. This role requires first-chair jury trial experience, a Virginia bar license, and a proven track record in high-stakes litigation.

The position is hybrid, promoting close collaboration with a seasoned legal team. You will lead strategy, manage depositions and motion practice, and advocate for clients with strong written and oral advocacy.

Qualifications

• J.D. required.
• Active Virginia bar license required.
• 1+ first-chair jury trials taken through verdict required.
• Strong personal injury litigation experience.
• Demonstrated courtroom, trial, negotiation, and case-management skills.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, communication, and advocacy abilities.
• Ability to take ownership of complex litigation matters and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Willingness to obtain additional bar licenses when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead personal injury litigation matters from case development through trial and verdict.

• Advocate for clients throughout the litigation process and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, experts, and other legal professionals to build effective cases.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the firm's presence and capabilities in additional jurisdictions.
