You will manage high-value cases from intake to resolution, negotiate settlements, and litigate when needed. Requirements include a Juris Doctor and an active Missouri license, trial experience or willingness to go to verdict, and strong negotiation, communication, and client-relationship skills.

Qualifications

• JD and active license to practice law in Missouri.
• Experience in plaintiff-side personal injury cases (auto, wrongful death, premises liability, etc.).
• Trial experience or willingness to take cases to verdict.

Job description

A well-established personal injury plaintiff's firm in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The firm has recovered over $1 billion for clients and represents accident victims in a wide range of matters including auto and trucking accidents, wrongful death, product liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution
• Investigate accidents and injuries, gather evidence, and build case strategy
• Negotiate with insurance companies to secure fair settlements for clients
• Prepare and litigate cases that proceed to trial, including depositions, motions, and courtroom advocacy
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout their case
• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and other attorneys on the team

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in Missouri
• Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury cases (auto accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, or similar)
• Trial experience or demonstrated willingness to take cases to verdict
• Strong negotiation, communication, and client-relationship skills
• Ability to manage a active caseload independently

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $160,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
