Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Tennessee Bar membership.
• 3+ years of personal injury, auto liability, or motor vehicle case experience.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of personal injury litigation cases.
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and memoranda.
• Guide plaintiff clients through the litigation process.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and prepare reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings.
• Maintain strong client communication and service throughout litigation.

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side practice in Knoxville, TN. This attorney will handle motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases in litigation, representing plaintiffs throughout Tennessee and surrounding areas.

The role will primarily focus on litigation, trial preparation, and trial, with limited responsibility for pre-suit matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of personal injury litigation cases
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and legal memoranda
• Guide plaintiff clients through the litigation process
• Work with expert witnesses, including conferences and preparation of expert reports and affidavits
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings
• Maintain strong communication and client service throughout the litigation process

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the Tennessee Bar
• Ideally 3+ years of personal injury, auto liability, or motor vehicle accident experience
• Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent client communication and service skills
• Self-motivated and driven with strong organizational and case management abilities
