Duties:

Manage and strategize personal injury cases from intake through resolution

Interpret applicable legal statutes, precedents, and regulations for client advisement

Analyze case facts, insurance policies, and medical reports to assess liability and damages

Draft pleadings, settlement proposals, and legal memoranda

Prepare and present arguments, settlement documentation, and related materials

Ensure legal compliance for case disbursements and settlements

Leverage legal technology and case management tools effectively

Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to support firm initiatives

Attend client meetings, court proceedings, and case-related events as necessary

Engage in community and professional outreach to strengthen client relationships and firm visibility

Requirements:

Admitted to practice law in North Carolina

0-3 years of experience in personal injury law preferred

Experience in litigation or trial work is a plus

Willingness to travel for case and firm-related activities

Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar

Additional Bar admissions (e.g., South Carolina) are advantageous
