Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
• 1–3 years of personal injury or civil litigation experience.
• Strong writing and negotiation skills.
• Spanish fluency is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and related negligence claims.
• Manage cases from pre-litigation through litigation and resolution.
• Develop legal strategies that maximize client outcomes.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Take and defend depositions, attend mediations, hearings, and trials as needed.

What You'll Do

As a Personal Injury Associate Attorney, you'll manage your own caseload while working alongside a team committed to delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities include:

• Represent clients in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and related negligence claims.
• Manage cases from pre-litigation through litigation and resolution.
• Develop legal strategies that maximize client outcomes.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Take and defend depositions, attend mediations, hearings, and trials as needed.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the life of their cases.
• Work collaboratively with support staff to ensure efficient case progression and an exceptional client experience.
• For attorneys interested in expanding their practice, opportunities to take on family law or criminal defense matters as your caseload and interests develop.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
