Legacy Healthcare Services in Mayfield Heights, OH seeks a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech to build and run Legacy’s Wellness Program for residents. You will develop LiveFit plans, document activities, and deliver group fitness under supervision of Rehabilitation leadership.

The role emphasizes serving seniors with compassionate, relationship-driven care, with opportunities for growth and career advancement within Legacy’s Wellness program.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• College degree in exercise science, kinesiology or related field preferred.
• Personal training or group fitness certification from an accredited organization is preferred or willing to attain (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA).
• 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience preferred.
• Experience with senior population desirable.
• CPR/AED certification must be current.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program.
• Perform LiveFit services with residents following policy under guidance of Rehabilitation Director.
• Provide personal fitness through Legacy’s LiveFit program and complete required billing and documentation.
• Deliver LiveFit treatment plans and develop fitness plans to improve health and meet members’ goals.
• Provide group fitness and wellness services through the LiveFit Program.
• Participate in department and facility meetings as part of the team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• College graduate preferred with bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
• Personal training or group fitness certification - nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
• Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
• Previous experience with senior population desirable
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience
• CPR/AED Certification must be current
• Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
