Job summary

The Nampa Police Department Recreation Center seeks a Fitness Trainer to develop and run diverse fitness programs for a broad customer base, reporting to the Wellness Supervisor. The role emphasizes independence, safety, customer service, and community engagement within a dynamic rec facility.

Responsibilities include designing personalized plans, supervising cardio/strength areas, maintaining facility etiquette, and supporting program events while adhering to department standards and safety

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• NCCA Personal Training Certificate required; specialty certifications may be required for select formats.
• 1+ years fitness training experience preferred or willingness to be trained; CPR/AED and First Aid required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct personalized fitness programs based on customer goals and health issues.
• Monitor cardio and strength areas to ensure safety and etiquette.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and report equipment issues to staff.
