Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• May consider associates with 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's.
• May consider high school diploma with 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and provide informational financial materials.
• Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Use virtual counseling or electronic communication modes when applicable.
• Manage DoD-related procedures and OCI disclosures as required.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision and training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
