Job summary

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of loan documentation experience, with strong attention to detail and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry into various software systems.
• Knowledge of consumer loan files and supporting documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan applications and final documentation for consumer real estate and non-real estate loans.

• Communicate with customers, internal staff, counsel, and title companies to obtain required documents.

What You’ll Do

Cornerstone Bank is looking for a Personal Documentation Specialist to join our professional team. This position can be located at Cornerstone Bank location in ND/SD. This candidate will be responsible for the preparation of application and final loan documentation as well as change in terms and adverse actions on consumer real estate and non-real estate loans, while providing excellent customer experience. The specialist will be responsible for addressing lending requirements to assure deadlines and expectations are met and is responsible for assuring compliance with bank, regulatory guidelines, customer service standards, and communicating with customers, internal staff, counsel, and title companies to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain all necessary documentation required for the file.

Background & Experience

A High school diploma or GED and 2 years of loan documentation preparation experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
