Job summary

Timberland Village, part of Bethany Life, is seeking a caring Caregiver (Personal Companion with Medication Manager) to support elders in assisted living. You will provide care, companionship, and help with daily activities, while monitoring changes and alerting nurses as needed.

The role offers full-time hours (6am-2pm), weekend/holiday rotation, and strong benefits, including health/dental/vision, 403B, EAP, and continuing education opportunities. CPR certification is required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Positive and professional work attitude in all responsibilities.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• CPR certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, supervision and support for elders in Assisted Living.
• Assist with activities to promote physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.
• Provide companionship and emotional support during daily activities.
• Alert changes in condition to nurse managers.
