Job summary

Carinity – Brookfield Green is seeking Personal Carers to provide compassionate, person-centred aged care in a homelike environment. You will support residents with daily routines, including cleaning, dressing, dining, and social activities, while maintaining dignity and independence.

Two permanent part-time roles are available (Position 1: 45 hours per fortnight; Position 2: 52.5 hours per fortnight). A Certificate III in Aged/Community Care and an NDIS Screening Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged/Community Care or equivalent
• Willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is required

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily lifestyle routines including home/room cleaning and clothing
• Assist with food and dining experiences and social interaction
• Provide companionship and support activities to promote dignity and independence

About The Role

At Carinity – Brookfield Green, we’re committed to providing compassionate, person-centred aged care that supports residents to live with dignity, comfort, and connection. Personal Carers work under the direction of the registered staff to meet the individual care needs of residents in an effective and holistic manner, ensuring a high standard of living is maintained in a pleasant, homelike environment with a genuine interest in caring for the elderly, supporting their dignity and independence.

You will support customers with a variety of activities in their daily lifestyle routines including home/room cleaning and clothing, food and dining experiences, social interaction and companionship, lifestyle interests and reminiscence.

There are 2 permanent part-time opportunities available, requiring availability Monday to Sunday each week.

Position 1: 45 hours per fortnight

Position 2: 52.5 hours per fortnight

What do you need for the role?

• Certificate III in Aged/Community Care and/or appropriate qualifications and experience
• Willingness to work as a team member, relating to a multi-disciplinary team
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
