Position: HCA Caregiver

Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care, based in Sacramento, is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to seniors in their homes. We seek dedicated and caring HCA (Home Care Aide) caregivers to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry, meal prep, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document client progress and report changes to supervisors.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and ensure a positive, safe, and caring environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• Valid TB test (within the last 24 months).
• Pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Effective and compassionate communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers if required.
