Home Care Support Worker - Inner South West

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers, helping them live independently, supported, and empowered within their own homes and communities.

We are recruiting Home Care Support Workers for multiple positions in Inner South West and surrounding areas including:

Abbotsbury, Bankstown, Bass Hill, Birrong, Bonnyrigg, Bonnyrigg Heights, Bossley Park, Cabramatta, Cabramatta West, Canley Heights, Canley Vale, Carramar, Chester Hill, Condell Park, East Hills, Edensor Park, Fairfield, Fairfield East, Fairfield Heights, Fairfield West, Greenacre, Georges Hall, Greenfield Park, Horsley Park, Lansvale, Milperra, Mt Lewis, Mt Pritchard, Old Guildford, Padstow, Padstow Heights, Panania, Picnic Point, Prairiewood, Punchbowl, Regents Park, Revesby, Revesby Heights, Sefton, Smithfield, St Johns Park, Villawood, Wakeley, Wetherill Park, Wiley Park, Wood Park, Yagoona, and Yennora.

What's On Offer

• Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time or Casual (based on your location and availability)
• Pay: $29.81 - $33 per hour (dependent on experience) + 11.5% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time
• Hours: 20-30 hours per fortnight with opportunities to flex up

• Become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care); all fees paid (for eligible employees)

Your New Role

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Transportation and Personal Care: assisting customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding, etc.
• Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements

• Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
• All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses
