Job summary

Harmony At Home Senior Care is seeking an in-home caregiver for a North Dallas client, offering daytime, part-time hours totaling about 13 hours per week at $13 per hour. Immediate opening with a set three-day weekly schedule: Mon 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, Wed 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, Fri 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Caregivers provide non-medical support in clients' homes per the plan of care. Additional hours may be available or requested for other clients, with shifts possibly offered at higher rates when urgent.

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical in-home care according to the client's plan of care.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Offer companionship and supervision in the home.
• Prepare meals and assist with medication reminders as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Assist with errands or transportation when approved.
• Complete required documentation after each shift and report client changes.

Harmony At Home Senior Care is seeking an in-home caregiver for an established client schedule in North Dallas. This position offers a set three-day weekly schedule totaling approximately 13 hours per week, with opportunities to request additional assignments with other clients.

This position may be a good fit for a caregiver looking for consistent part-time daytime hours while maintaining the option to add more work to their schedule.

Current Client Schedule

The caregiver selected for this assignment should be available for the complete recurring schedule:

• Monday: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM

• Wednesday: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM

• Friday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Location: North Dallas, TX
Regular Assignment Rate: $13.00 per hour
Scheduled Hours: Approximately 13 hours per week

Want Additional Hours?

This posting is for a specific North Dallas client, but additional schedules and hours with other clients are available upon request.

Caregivers who would like more than 13 hours per week can provide their additional availability to our Scheduling Team. Other client assignments may be available on different days, during evenings or weekends, or in surrounding service areas.

Each client assignment is offered separately based on location, schedule, caregiver qualifications, availability, and client needs.

Harmony At Home Senior Care also frequently has urgent or difficult-to-fill coverage needs. Certain urgent shifts may be temporarily offered at increased rates, commonly ranging from $16.00–$20.00 per hour.

These increased rates apply only to qualifying shifts when specifically offered and are not guaranteed for regular assignments or hours.

About the Caregiver Role

Our caregivers provide non-medical support to clients in their homes. The exact duties for each assignment are determined by the client's individual plan of care.

Depending on the client's needs, responsibilities may include:

• Personal care and assistance with daily activities

• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance

• Mobility or transfer assistance

• Companionship and supervision

• Meal preparation

• Medication reminders

• Light housekeeping related to client care

• Assistance with authorized errands or transportation

• Maintaining a clean and safe client environment

• Completing required documentation after each shift

• Communicating client changes or concerns to the office

What We Look For

Successful caregivers should be dependable, professional, compassionate, and comfortable working independently in a client's home.

Applicants should:

• Have reliable transportation to North Dallas

• Have a valid driver's license

• Be able to consistently work the listed client schedule

• Arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance

• Follow client care plans and agency procedures

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff

• Complete required hiring documents, onboarding, and training

Previous caregiving experience is preferred. Experience may include professional home care, personal care, CNA, HHA, PCA, assisted living, memory care, senior care, or relevant personal caregiving experience.
