Caregiver / Personal Care Aide - North Dallas

Monday–Thursday Afternoon Schedule | $14.00 per Hour

Harmony At Home Senior Care is seeking a reliable caregiver or personal care aide for a client located in North Dallas near the Plano area.

This client needs consistent afternoon assistance four days per week. The position provides 16 regularly scheduled hours each week, with the option to request additional client assignments if you are interested in building a larger work schedule.

Assignment Information

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Hours: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
Location: North Dallas near Plano
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Regular Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week

We are specifically looking for someone who can commit to this recurring four-day schedule and provide dependable, consistent care.

While this position begins with a 16-hour weekly client assignment, additional schedules and hours with other clients are available upon request.

If you are looking for part-time work closer to 20–30 hours per week or would like to work toward a fuller schedule, provide your additional availability during the hiring process.

Harmony At Home Senior Care works with clients throughout the Dallas area and may have additional morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, or weekend assignments that can be scheduled around this position.

Additional assignments are based on current client needs, location, qualifications, availability, and compatibility with the client's schedule.

Opportunities for Urgent Shift Coverage

We also frequently offer caregivers the opportunity to assist with urgent staffing needs.

When qualifying shifts require urgent or difficult-to-fill coverage, temporary increased rates are frequently offered in the $16.00–$20.00 per hour range.

Urgent coverage rates apply only to the specific shifts for which an increased rate is offered. They are not guaranteed for every shift and do not change the regular $14.00 per hour rate for this North Dallas assignment.

What Does an In-Home Caregiver Do?

Caregivers provide non-medical assistance that helps clients safely maintain their daily routines at home. Your specific responsibilities will be determined by the client's established plan of care.

Typical caregiver duties may include:

• Assisting with activities of daily living

• Personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance

• Mobility and transfer support

• Preparing meals and snacks

• Providing medication reminders

• Companionship and supervision

• Light housekeeping associated with client care

• Assistance with approved errands or transportation

• Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

• Observing and reporting changes in the client's needs

• Documenting services provided during each shift

The Caregiver We're Looking For

For this assignment, consistency is important. Applicants should be able to reliably maintain the Monday through Thursday afternoon schedule.

Candidates should:

• Be available from 12:00 PM–4:00 PM Monday through Thursday

• Have reliable personal transportation

• Have a valid driver's license

• Be able to reliably travel to North Dallas near the Plano area

• Maintain punctual and dependable attendance

• Be comfortable working independently in a client's home

• Follow client care plans and agency procedures

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff

• Complete required hiring documents, onboarding, and training

Prior caregiving experience is preferred. Relevant backgrounds may include work as a caregiver, personal care aide, personal care attendant, PCA, HHA, CNA, home health aide, senior caregiver, assisted living caregiver, or similar role.

Relevant personal caregiving experience may also be considered.
