Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors in Fort Collins seeks compassionate, reliable caregivers for non-medical home care. You will support seniors in their homes with daily activities, companionship, and basic tasks, while maintaining independence and dignity. Flexible hours suit students; training will be provided; prior healthcare exposure is welcome.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Reliable, compassionate, and responsible.
• Able to complete required home care training before working independently.
• Physically and mentally able to meet job demands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Report safety concerns.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Transportation to appointments or community activities.
• Engage in conversation and social interaction.
• Provide emotional encouragement.
• Read, play games, or participate in hobbies.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting a Safe & Comfortable Home

• Help maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Report any safety concerns

Helping with Daily Living Tasks

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene

Light Household Support
