Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors in Aurora, CO is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide non-medical home care to seniors in their own homes. This hands-on role offers flexible hours, meaningful experience, and the chance to make a real difference in someone’s life.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, reliable, compassionate, and capable of assisting with daily living tasks, mobility, meal prep, companionship, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and able to meet physical tasks.
• Reliable, compassionate, and responsible in a home-care setting.
• Ability to complete required home care training before working independently.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe living space for clients.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers and light exercise.
• Provide medication reminders and accompany to appointments.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting a Safe & Comfortable Home

• Help maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Report any safety concerns

Helping with Daily Living Tasks

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support with mobility, transfers, and light exercise
• Provide medication reminders

Light Household Support

• Meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation to appointments or community activities (as needed)

Companionship & Connection

• Engage in conversation and social interaction
• Provide emotional encouragement
• Read, play games, or participate in hobbies together
