Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors in Colorado is seeking compassionate, reliable part-time caregivers to provide non-medical home care to seniors in their own homes. This role offers flexible hours and hands-on experience that fits around class schedules.

You will assist with daily living tasks, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and friendly companionship to help seniors maintain independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Must complete required home care training before working independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care to seniors in their own homes.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments or activities as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting a Safe & Comfortable Home

• Help maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Report any safety concerns

Helping with Daily Living Tasks

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support with mobility, transfers, and light exercise
• Provide medication reminders

Light Household Support

• Meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation to appointments or community activities (as needed)

Companionship & Connection

• Engage in conversation and social interaction
• Provide emotional encouragement
• Read, play games, or participate in hobbies together
