Evonik is seeking a Sales and Market Development professional focused on cosmetic ingredients for the personal care market in the United States. You will drive regional growth, leverage technical and commercial expertise, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and global teams to execute market strategies.

As a subject matter expert on customers and Evonik’s portfolio, you will manage an active opportunity pipeline, participate in industry events, and travel up to 20-40% as needed to build

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Life Sciences, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 3+ years in personal care industry, with BD/sales/marketing/technical experience preferred.
• Cosmetic ingredients knowledge, formulation processes, skin science, regulatory requirements, and product claims.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales calls and in-person visits to customers to grow regional sales and profitability.
• Support marketing activities to promote segment products; act as sales specialist during customer presentations.
• Manage opportunities in CRM; ensure quality and viability of pipeline with account managers.
• Be a key member of global and regional segment teams; relay regional needs to global strategy.
