Job summary

Beloit Health System is offering immediate opportunities for Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants to join Riverside Terrace in Wisconsin. The role supports residents with daily living activities, nursing and personal care, and requires WI CNA certification, CPR within 3 months, and medication training completion.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd with a schedule of 6:00 am–2:30 pm and 2:00 pm–10:30 pm, totaling about 28–32 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have Current WI CNA certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification within 3 months.
• Must complete the required medication training course.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Assist with medications under supervision of Registered Nurse after training.
• Conduct room checks and monitor safety hazards.
• Escort residents to dining room and assist with meals.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with the care team.

In these positions the Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistant will assist residents who are functionally, physically, and or socially impaired and need assistance with supportive, nursing, and personal care. The Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible to assist tenants with those activities of daily living that they are unable to perform without help, fostering at all times residents' independence and freedom of choice. .

• Assures the provision of high-quality services needed and/or desired by tenants and their families.


• Attains and/or maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, state, federal, regulatory, and/or accrediting body standards.


• Maintains high level of involvement/participation in all tenant activities. Provides Activity Coordinator and Director with ongoing feedback/suggestions regarding the activity program.


• Assists residents to self-administer medications under supervision of Registered Nurse and after completion of approved medication course.


• Provides assistance with activities of daily living for tenants


• Provides assistance with instrumental activities of daily living


• Conducts room checks and tenant rounds/checks and monitors for environmental and safety hazards.


• Records incidents, errors, and accidents. Reports such occurrences to Director within 1 hour.


• Escorts tenants to dining room, sets up and cleans tables, serves meals, eat meals with tenants during mealtimes. May also be
