Job summary

Beloit Health System is seeking Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants to join Riverside Terrace in Beloit, WI. Shifts include 1st and 2nd with 28–32 hours per week in a benefits-eligible setting.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, medication assistance under RN supervision, and ensuring safety and high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current WI CNA certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification within 3 months.
• Medication administration assistance training completed.
• Maintains confidentiality and collaborates with the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist with medications under supervision of Registered Nurse after completing approved medication course.
• Provide assistance with instrumental activities of daily living.
• Conduct room checks and tenant rounds; monitor for safety hazards.
• Record incidents, errors, and accidents; report to Director within 1 hour.
• Escort tenants to dining room, set up/clean tables, and serve meals.

• Shift: 1st and 2nd available


• Schedule: 6a-2:30p and2p-10:30


• Hours per week: 28 - 32


• Benefits Status: Benefits Eligible


• Department: Riverside Terrace

In these positions the Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistant will assist residents who are functionally, physically, and or socially impaired and need assistance with supportive, nursing, and personal care. The Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible to assist tenants with those activities of daily living that they are unable to perform without help, fostering at all times residents' independence and freedom of choice. .

• Assures the provision of high-quality services needed and/or desired by tenants and their families.


• Attains and/or maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, state, federal, regulatory, and/or accrediting body standards.


• Maintains high level of involvement/participation in all tenant activities. Provides Activity Coordinator and Director with ongoing feedback/suggestions regarding the activity program.


• Assists residents to self-administer medications under supervision of Registered Nurse and after completion of approved medication course.


• Provides assistance with activities of daily living for tenants


• Provides assistance with instrumental activities of daily living


• Conducts room checks and tenant rounds/checks and monitors for environmental and safety hazards.


• Records incidents, errors, and accidents. Reports such occurrences to Director within 1 hour.

Job Requirements:

• Must have Current WI CNA certification
