StarCare Specialty Health System (StarCare) is seeking a full time Personal Care Attendantto join its outstanding PACE/Silver Star team.PACE, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, is a program designed to help aging people meet their health needs in the community instead of going to a nursing facility or other care facility. Working at Silver Star, you will be part of the PACE team of health care professionals making sure PACE participants receive the coordinated care they need to be healthy and safe in the community.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for full-time professional, competent and compassionate caregivers/drivers to provide care to our Silver Star participants in their homes and/or in our licensed adult day center. This is an often demanding, yet extremely rewarding job. Experience working or caring for elderly adults is required.
The ideal candidate will take pride in working with the aging population, be kind, honest, and friendly with excellent communication skills. Must be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to assist Silver Star participants.
Essential Duties:
Schedule:This is a full-time/non-exempt position. Scheduled workdays/hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility to meet customer and program needs and to equal a minimum of 40 hours per week
