CAREMATE WELLNESS SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking caregivers in Arlington, TX to provide non-medical personal care in clients' homes. You will support daily living activities, monitor safety, and communicate changes to the agency. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and adherence to care plans.

Starting pay is $13.02 per hour with a semi-monthly pay schedule and flexible shifts. Benefits and advancement opportunities may be available for serious applicants.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of direct caregiving experience is required.
• Candidate must be self-directed and service-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Patience and compassion for elderly/disabled individuals are required.
• Experience with dementia/alzheimer’s care or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, meal prep).
• Provide non-medical personal care per plan of care.
• Conduct safety and wellness observations each shift and report changes.
• Maintain a safe environment, prevent hazards, and follow safety procedures.
• Educate family or caregivers on transfers and repositioning techniques.
• Attend required trainings and seek opportunities to add value to services.

Location: Arlington, TX

Job Purpose:

Caremate Wellness Solutions provides personal and living assistance services to individuals in the comfort of their own home or residence for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, or restoring health or minimizing the effects of illness or disability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports clients by assisting with the Activities of Daily Living or ADLs(bathing/dressing/toileting/hygiene/meal prep/assistance with meals/mobilitymonitoring/medication reminders)
• Provide direct personal care of a non-medical nature, following an approved plan of care
• Performs safety &wellness observations each shift. Communicates with the agency about any changes in condition or living environment
• Maintains a safe work and living environment, ensuring the area where care is provided is free from falls, fire, and trip hazards. Adheres to agency safety standards and procedures
• Helps family members or primary caregivers care for the client by teaching appropriate ways to transfer, turn, and reposition if necessary
• Updates job knowledge by participating in agency-required training and education opportunities
• Enhances agency & service reputation by accepting ownership of exploring opportunities to add value to services offered

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have 6 months or more of prior direct caregiving experience
• Must be self-directed and service-oriented
• Need good interpersonal skills, must be service-oriented, possess good bedside manner
• Must have patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled individuals
• Experience working with individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's disease, or be willing to participate in training to provide service
• Skilled in verbal and written communication

• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
• Must meet background eligibility requirements
• Must provide 2 Professional References
• Must complete all assigned training by agency deadlines
