Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is hiring Personal Care Aides/Caregivers in Greenfield and surrounding towns. This role offers full-time, part-time, and per diem positions with morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.

Pay is $18.50 per hour with benefits and a focus on client-centered home care. Responsibilities include helping seniors with daily living activities, medication reminders, and safety at home. Candidates should have PCA/CNA/HHA certification, some healthcare experience, a valid

• Six (6) months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Compassionate, helpful, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and ROM exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document condition for supervisor.
• Ensure a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies).

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• PCA, CNA or HHA certification
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Valid driver’s license and your own transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
