Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Greenfield, MA is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to support seniors at home across multiple local towns. The role offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem schedules with morning, afternoon, evening and weekend options.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living activities, mobility support and medication reminders. Benefits include 1:1 ratios, flexible scheduling, online training, weekly pay, PTO, and 401k after 1 year.

Qualifications

• PCA, CNA or HHA certification.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to help seniors live safely at home.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, laundry, shopping.
• Support ambulation, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report concerns to supervisor.
• Create a safe home environment and engage clients in activities.
• Communicate with clients to enhance wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

Must-Haves

• PCA, CNA or HHA certification
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Valid driver’s license and your own transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
