Job Description:

As a PCA with AbaCares Services, you will provide essential assistance to our clients, helping them with daily activities and personal care needs in the comfort and safety of their own homes. This role requires empathy, patience, and a positive attitude, ensuring our clients receive the highest care and support.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
2. Support clients with mobility needs, including transferring, walking, and navigating their home environment.
3. Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that enrich their daily lives.
4. Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist with feeding, if necessary.
5. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable home environment.
6. Monitor and report client health, behavior, or needs changes to the care management team.
7. Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands as needed.
8. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and the high ethical standards expected at AbaCares Services.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant, or similar role.
3. Must pass a comprehensive background check.
4. Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and follow care plans accurately.
5. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Physical ability to perform the position's duties, including lifting and transferring clients as needed.
8. A commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic care to individuals in need.
