Job summary

Personal Home Care of NC (PHC) is seeking energetic Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home care under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities and mobility for clients in homes or healthcare facilities.

We require a High School diploma or equivalent and CNA certification/experience, plus a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks. PHC offers a $200 employee referral bonus, paid orientation, monthly training, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping (laundry/cleaning).
• Document client care and progress timely and accurately.

A Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities to individuals who are unable to perform these tasks on their own. The PCA will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed therapist to provide care to clients in their homes or in a healthcare facility.

Personal Home Care of NC (PHC) is a rapidly growing full-service home care/home health agency looking for energetic and dedicated skilled caregivers that can fulfill the needs of our growing patient population. We are looking for dedicated PCAs to provide excellent patient care.

Physical Demands:

The PCA will be required to lift and move clients, as well as perform other physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching. The job may also require standing or walking for extended periods of time.

The PCA will work in clients' homes. The job may require exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
