Job summary

ExpertCare in Michigan is seeking reliable Personal Care Assistants to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes, providing compassionate support and skill-building activities. You will help clients stay independent and safe while following care plans.

This role offers flexible schedules and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and their families as you also help them engage with community activities outside the home.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care in clients' homes and support with activities.
• Encourage and assist with skill-building for recipients.
• Assist clients in engaging with the community to pursue personal goals outside the home.
