Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a full-time Personal Care Assistant to support residents in a Senior Living Community in Berks County, PA. The role covers two shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, focusing on daily living activities with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring resident status, medication reminders, responding to call lights, and aiding dining services as needed.

Qualifications

• Current certificate in an accredited First Aid course and CPR is required.
• Participation in medication course is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Inform supervisor of changes in residents' conditions and document observations.
• Follow procedure for medication reminders and ensure accurate administration.
• Respond to emergency call lights and support dining needs of residents.
