Job summary

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care is seeking passionate Home Care Aides (HCA) to support seniors in Woodland, CA. This full-time, non-medical caregiving role offers $18-$20 per hour based on experience and a chance to positively impact clients’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• TB test current within the last 24 months.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to assist with mobility aids and transfers.
• Reliable, dependable, and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Offer medication reminders and assist with client appointments.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage in activities to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to supervisors.
• Provide companionship and ensure a caring, supportive environment.
