Job summary

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care, based in Sacramento, is seeking dedicated HCA caregivers to join our team. You will provide compassionate personal care and support to seniors in their own homes, helping with daily activities and ensuring safety.

We value reliability, good communication, and a heart for elder care. Flexible full-time/part-time schedules are available, with competitive pay of $18-$20 per hour and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• Valid TB test within the last 24 months.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, family members, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and safe home maintenance.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to boost well being.
• Monitor and document client progress and report changes to supervisors.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and create a positive, safe environment.

We are currently seeking dedicated and caring HCA (Home Care Aide) caregivers to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
