Job summary

• Participate in agency activities and perform required care hours.
• Travel between members and run errands as needed.

Job Summary

Excell Private Care Services, established in 1996, is seeking a caregiver to provide supportive household and personal care services to members.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive household services including light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping as outlined in the written plan of care.
• Prepare nutritious meals, including medically prescribed diets.
• Follow service plan goals and tasks, documenting observations and activities.
• Recognize and report any changes in client’s physical, mental, and social status to supervisor and agency staff.
• Perform care and services with minimal or no client or family complaints.
• Assist with personal care for advanced members per service plan goals.
• Assist with advanced supportive restorative (ASR) tasks with proper training from an LPN or RN as specified.
• Participate in agency activities: attend staff meetings, complete at least 12 hours of in‑services per year, and perform care hours as outlined on care plan.
• Stand, walk, and lift between 10-40 lbs. as required.
• Travel between members and run errands as needed.

Qualifications

No prior experience required; however, experience as a sitter, companion, or homemaker is a plus. The candidate must be willing to travel between members.
