Job summary

Southern Hearts Homecare of Georgia inc is seeking competent Personal Care Assistants to support clients in their everyday lives in Lizella and surrounding areas. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, personal hygiene, and provide companionship while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.

Qualifications

• Previous Personal Care Assistant or caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable.

• Physically capable of performing caregiving duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients' needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
• Follow each client's plan of care and assigned task sheet.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition or behavior.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Protect clients' privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
• Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.
