Job summary

Vancrest Health Care Centers is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Georgia. The role focuses on compassionate, timely personal care and supporting residents with daily activities in a welcoming setting.

The PCA will assist with nursing-related tasks, monitor residents' needs, and help maintain a safe environment. Must be able to read/write English and pass background checks; STNA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Read/write English language.
• Move, lift (up to 50 pounds) and assist residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' personal care needs are provided with quality and timeliness.
• Address residents' medical needs through delivery of nursing care and report to charge nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe and pleasant environment.
• Meet residents' nutritional needs according to care plan and report to director.
• Perform related activities as assigned or requested.
• Ensure residents' medication needs are met.

start at $15 and go up depending on experience and is determined by the hiring manager. Weekend Warrior qualifies for a higher pay!

The Job Responsibilities Of The PCA Include

• Ensuring that residents' personal care needs are provided for with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
• Ensuring that residents' medical needs are addressed through the delivery of quality nursing care and reporting to charge nurse.
• Maintaining a physical environment in a clean, safe and pleasant manner.
• Ensuring that nutritional needs of residents are met in accordance with established care plan and reporting to appropriate director
• Performing other related activities as assigned or requested.
• Ensuring residents' medication needs are met.

Requirements Of PCA

• Move (sit, stand, bend and lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
• Lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Assist with the evacuation of residents.
• Read/write English language
• Pass a background check and drug test
• STNA not required, but preferred.
