Job summary

SVNA Home Assistance is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate, non-medical care in clients' homes or facilities in the Northwest Corner of CT. The PCA will support daily living activities, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and social engagement.

The role emphasizes building trust with clients and families, with ongoing training to ensure high-quality care. Scheduling is flexible and includes days, evenings, and weekends to fit personal needs.

We provide Personal Care Assistance to our clients' homes or within any facility in the Northwest Corner of CT, to make our clients' day-to-day lives easier. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care and support in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team of Personal Care Assistants who pride themselves on matching personalities to meet the unique needs of our clients.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals, manage medication, and perform light housekeeping tasks
• Engage in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation, such as games, puzzles, or conversation
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to ensure seamless care
