SVNA Home Assistance is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate, non-medical care in clients' homes or facilities in the Northwest Corner of CT. The PCA will support daily living activities, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and social engagement.

The role emphasizes building trust with clients and families, with ongoing training to ensure high-quality care. Scheduling is flexible and includes days, evenings, and weekends to fit personal needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist with daily living activities and basic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and companionship to clients in their homes or facilities
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals, manage light housekeeping tasks, and assist with medications as directed
• Engage clients in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation
• Develop positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure seamless care
