Qualifications

• Must have long term care experience
• Experience in long-term care or physical rehabilitation setting
• Ability to interact with seniors with empathy and patience

• Helps resident maintain their highest level of functioning with activity programs
• Invites and encourages resident participation and assists in transporting
• Engages residents in maintaining maximum daily Living Functions
• Ensures resident safety
• Participates in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs

• Have experience working in healthcare

• Long-term care experience preferred

The responsibilities & duties:

• Helps resident maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to resident’s physical capacity, cognitive ability and interest

• Invites and encourages resident participation and assists in transporting

• Engages individual resident in maintaining maximum daily Living Functions

• Assures the safety of individual resident

• Participate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs
