Job summary

Newport Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Christiana, PA is seeking enthusiastic Personal Care Assistants for part-time shifts to support residents one-to-one. The role emphasizes compassionate care, positive engagement, and a supportive team environment.

Shifts include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am with a focus on maintaining residents’ highest level of function. Opportunities for growth, tuition assistance, and ongoing training are provided.

The responsibilities & duties:

• Helps resident maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to resident’s physical capacity, cognitive ability and interest
• Invites and encourages resident participation and assists in transporting
• Engages individual resident in maintaining maximum daily Living Functions
• Assures the safety of individual resident
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs
