Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Augusta is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver to support seniors in Augusta and El Dorado, KS. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe home environment.

Benefits include weekly pay, 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, online training with CEUs, and tuition discounts through Rasmussen University. Prior healthcare experience is preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) in KS.
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• Auto insurance and transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document conditions for supervisor review.
• Ensure a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in activities like puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
